Whether you are looking for a party idea or one of Chef's cooking classes, cooking instruction in your own home is a convenient option. Learning to something new is always fun but learning a new skill, like how to make a delicious new treat or meal is something you will have forever. Think of it as a cooking school vacation right at home.

When doing a cooking class party. We will select your menu. I will bring copies of recipes for your number of guests. You and your guests will all assist in making the menu you decided on. I will instruct step by step on how to prepare your selections. Everyone will be involved which will result in a fun time. I highly recommend Don Dutcher (House Call Chef). I am a Fused Glass artist and a full time Junior High Art Teacher. Don sat down with me and went over my event (the number of hours, my expectations, the type of food my guests might expect) and then we went shopping. He had already looked over my utensils and kitchenware. All I had to worry about was my artwork and setup, the food was covered. He picked foods that could sit out all day without spoiling or needing a lot of fussing, and yet stay delicious and beautiful. In my case I hired him to handle doing the entire preparation and setting. My guests were IMPRESSED. I arranged for Don to stay around to tend to the food, and socialize. He was a relaxed, gregarious presence and mixed well with my clients. It seemed like everyone wanted to know who he was! I know a good thing when I see it, I signed up for his services for my open house next year.
